Certification for sustainability

ISO 14001:2015 certification means that the team is focusing on sustainable measures. This applies to both the vehicle fleet and the implementation of environmentally conscious habits at the head office. Among other things, hallermobil generates sustainable electricity through the photovoltaic system on the company roof. As a company, we also pay attention to regional supply chains with our partners. This avoids long transportation routes that pollute the environment. hallermobil adheres to strict criteria when selecting suppliers. These are defined as part of the audit by Quality Austria.

E-mobility: Full speed ahead into the future

Speedster with sustainability: the e-Golf from VW runs on electric power. The compact car has been part of the hallermobil fleet since 2018. With the electrically powered Golf, hallermobil is making a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. At the same time, the car runs quietly: the quiet, powerful e-motor meanders silently through the urban jungle. With a range of around 230 kilometers, the little powerhouse effortlessly manages both short and long distances in Vienna and the surrounding area.

Photovoltaics: solar power from the roof

Since 2020, a photovoltaic system on the roof of the hallermobil headquarters has ensured an optimal power supply using renewable energy. Among other things, this also generates the electricity for our e-vehicles. Additional panels were added to the photovoltaic system in 2023. This allows even more sunlight to be captured and important energy to be generated. Since the installation, a total of around 45 tons of CO2 have been saved – that’s the equivalent of planting 1,338 trees!

Regional suppliers: Sustainable value chain

hallermobil has been relying on regional suppliers for years – from the wrapping of the vehicles to the choice of fruit baskets for the employees: When selecting the right pool of producers, hallermobil pays attention to strict criteria. These were recorded as part of the audit by Quality Austria for ISO certification. Regional value creation is a top priority. This means that Austrian companies in particular are awarded the contracts.

Digitalization: One step ahead

Innovation meets transport service! Since the company was founded, hallermobil has undergone constant further development. New circumstances are an opportunity to find innovative ways. Increasing digitalization is an opportunity to automate processes and bring them into the new age in order to create more energy for fresh projects. Whether an online booking via the booking platform, the digitalization of print products or equipping the company headquarters with an information screen – hallermobil is taking decisive steps towards digitalization.

Charity at hallermobil

hallermobil is committed to helping people in need through various projects. In addition to the sustainability aspect, charity is a central component of our corporate philosophy. With the Haller Emergency Aid Fund, donations are collected annually at our company parties in order to distribute the money to specifically selected social projects. Together with our partners, we at hallermobil can further expand our support for those affected. From free patient cabs for bowel cancer sufferers to discounted rides for parents of seriously ill children – our charity projects allow us to take some of the burden off people’s shoulders.

Haller emergency aid fund

Where there is particular need, hallermobil works with as many partners as possible to bring some relief to the lives of those affected. Charity is a central component of our corporate philosophy. Together with our partner companies, politicians and hallermobil employees, we are able to implement important support projects every year – from our school campaign (free snack pack) to sponsoring wheelchairs for those affected.

Franz-Karl Effenberg Help-Club

Since 2006, the non-profit organization has been collecting important donations of money and goods for young people, needy people and families who have no means of giving their children presents at Christmas.

A moment of happiness that every child deserves. In 2022 and 2023, we have therefore decided to support the Franz-Karl Effenberg Help Club as a Christmas gift to bring a sparkle back into the eyes of children and people.

Global Family Charity Resort

Tourism with a social factor: the Global Family Charity Resort supports families for whom life is not normal. For victims of poverty, illness, violence and war, carefree vacations and loving hospitality are more than just a vacation. It is the fulfillment of an unattainable dream. Lichtblickhof

The Lichtblickhof is a place to live for children with serious and life-shortening illnesses, disabilities or traumatic experiences. The Lichtblickhof team and the specially trained therapy horses and animals accompany children and their families with the most difficult fates. Regardless of diagnoses and prognoses, it is possible here to create moments of joy and lightness, to find peace, to experience rays of hope, to feel confidence and solidarity and to gather strength for the tasks still to be mastered. Colorectal cancer self-help

“Selbsthilfe Darmkrebs” is the only self-help group for bowel cancer sufferers in the whole of Austria. The association provides competent, fast and free help and advice. Sterntalerhof

Sterntalerhof is the only inpatient children’s hospice for families with seriously, chronically and terminally ill children in the whole of Austria. As a family hospice, the association always takes care of the entire affected family, even – and especially – when these families have to say goodbye to a loved one. As a cooperation partner, we are pleased to be able to offer our services to those affected at reduced rates and thus guarantee a comfortable arrival and departure. Special Olympics Austria

Special Olympics Austria is passionately committed to supporting people with intellectual disabilities through sport and improving their quality of life. Targeted sports activities not only promote physical skills, but also social integration, self-confidence and increased opportunities in the job market. As hallermobil, we are proud to support Special Olympics Austria in this important work and to contribute to ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities in Austria have access to sports activities that improve their health and make them more independent in everyday life.

IOAA-Austria

The IOAA-Austria association organizes the Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics for high school students in Austria. In this competition, young people who are particularly enthusiastic about astronomy and astrophysics can put their skills to the test. Each year, up to five students have the opportunity to compete internationally against participants from around 50 countries. To enable young people from all social backgrounds to take part, the association relies on support from sponsors such as hallermobil.
